It’s hard to believe fall is almost here!🍂
(I mean seriously, I feel like it was JUST April a couple weeks ago!)🤯
Fall is my favorite season for a few reasons:
🍂Cutest (and comfiest) clothes!
🍂Football
🍂Slightly cooler weather
🍂Tailgating
🍂Pumpkin flavored everythingggg
And in years past, fall has kind of been my season to relax on my fitness goals. I mean, the last two listed above paired with sweater season??? 🤷🏼♀️ Plus then we have Halloween🍬, then Thanksgiving🥧…might as well just wait until January to really dial in my fitness goals again right?🙃
This is how I’ve felt in the past. But this year is different. I KNOW that each and every day is an opportunity to move myself forward. I KNOW I don’t feel my best when I start to get too relaxed with my nutrition (so I'm guessing you feel the same way, too!)
And while relaxing on my nutrition might not seem like much, I know it starts to spread into other areas of my life. I get lazy. In my work, my relationships, my fitness - you name it.
My biggest tip for sticking to your goals - no matter what season it is - is finding a community (or at least ONE person) to hold you accountable! And the reason I know this year is different is because i have a whole tribe of ladies in my private fitness community who have each other's backs and will keep each other motivated when we might feel ourselves start to go back to “what’s easy,"!
I don’t feel my best when I’m not doing my best, and I’m guessing you don’t either. 🤷🏼♀️ So as the leaves start to change and we start to sip on alllll the PSLs (bc duh), I challenge you to find your tribe. Get an accountability buddy. Because at the end of the day, it’s simple! We’re either moving forward or we’re moving backward. We’re either making progress or we’re not!
